Snowy Owls Class

Children in the Snowy Owls class are in Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4. They are taught by Mrs Hunt and Mrs Madin with the support of Teaching Assistants Mrs Buxton, Mrs Clark and Mrs Woolley.

 

In Mathematics this year we will be developing fluency, problem solving and reasoning, counting, partitioning calculating, measuring and developing our understanding of shape, position and direction and time.

 

In English we will be starting the Autumn term with a narrative focus on the text "The Owl Tree" by Jenny Nimmo. 

 

In RE this term we will be considering what Christians learn from the creation story and thinking about what the Trinity is, as well as leading the whole school Harvest service at St Mary's Church.

 

In History this term we will be comparing and contrasting the lives of Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria.
