Pupil Progress

Assessment plays an important part in helping us recognise children’s progress, understand their needs, and to plan activities and give support. Ongoing assessment is an integral part of the learning and development process.

We observe the children and collect evidence of their attainment throughout their time with us. Observations are matched to the Development Matters statements and at the end of the year we complete the children's Early Years Foundation Stage Profile to see if the children have achieved the expected Early Learning Goals.

Each term we meet with the children and parents to discuss their progress.
